Good for them, our gas in PA is still over 2 bucks a gallon. Why? PA has lots of tax!

i am in central ms - and ours is $1.79. i always buy gas at Kroger because of my points so i get it lower but i have not gotten it under $1 yet!

Driving me crazy that most gas stations on my island are still charging well over $3.00. Yesterday I saw $3.59 and $3.89 for the cheapest. We have to get the middle or highest one.

It is a little less at Costco but it's not always convenient to get to that one location and wait in the very long line. Plus the price is not listed on any sign. You don't know if it was worth it until you pull in and get out at the pump.

we seem to be hovering at about 2.29 for regular unleaded right now,but with grocery store points it would definitely be lower than $2. i wonder how long this will last?

wow! That's about the price I paid when I first started driving, many years ago.

The state we live in has so much to do with the price we pay at the pump. In CA today, I paid 2.69/gallon and that did include a grocery store discount of .20/gallon.

brii i can fill up my SUV for $20-$21 depending on how low it is! it is not a huge one obviously.

Yes, I realize that it's going to be higher in my state, Hawaii, as it has to get here. Also our state and local taxes and fees on it are among the highest in the nation too. We were hovering close to $5.00 for years so this mid $3.50 something is definitely better than that.
