There was a report last evening from family.  If correct, it is just as at least here we expected.  Capt. tried at least 4 times to go through proper channels with no action coming as more and more of the sailors were getting sick.  Family also said he knew the moment he sent the letter out to all those people he would probably be relieved of his command, but he felt duty bound to try and protect his crew and get them adequate medical help.

Navy Recommends Reinstating Ousted Captain Of USS Roosevelt

 

 

In what could amount to a stunning about-face for the Pentagon, congressional sources have confirmed to NPR that top Navy leaders have recommended that Capt. Brett Crozier be put back in command of the coronavirus-plagued aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Good, the Capt. was done dirty in my opinion. I think someone should be in trouble for the way that was handled.
