I just installed IOS to my iPad and I looked at my battery percentage and it is decreasing. I am also on WiFi. What is causing this to happen?

percentage declines with use or not turning it off completely when not in use---I plug mine in every night like my phone.

Mine is plugged in right now. I haven't been using it long tonight. Right now the battery percentage is 82%

It can be many things causing it. I saw a list of things that drain the battery I think in one of the ""ipad Tips and Tricks"" in the Electronics Forum. Check out those threads.

Is it plugged in to an outlet or by USB to your computer?

Into an outlet in the wall and USB is plugged into the charger and iPad

I tried all of the tips. No luck. I just turned WiFi off so maybe that will save my battery. Dh thinks I need to uninstall iOS

The tips don't work instantly you have to recharge it and then see if it's better.
