At this point in time I wonder when the next version of the icoffee will be released as there are entirely too many grinds in the rinse after using commercially prepared K Cups!
Because of this residual amount of coffee grinds in the unit after a brew I think it is important that you run at least one rinse cycle after each K Cup brew. This of course is saying nothing of the absolute necessity of in my opinion two rinses after you use your own coffee grind.**
I was surprised to see at least 600% more grinds in the rinse of the icoffee compared to the Cuisinart.
** Unless you fill it 2/3 or less..
I'm not experiencing the grinds in the rinse issue. Once in a while I get one or two, but that's it. I don't know what k-cups you use, but when I got my first Keurig (before my Vue), I found that Emeril's k-cups were a complete disaster for grounds, including in my brewed cups, so bad in fact that I was having to transfer my coffee from the cup I brewed in to another cup, pouring through a filter. It was awful. I ran into that problem occasionally with the Gevalia cups, but not as bad as the Emeril.

We recently purchased this at BB&B. It's wonderful! Definite difference in taste. As for recycling the pods, there are many stores that carry "friendly" pods. This also comes with it's own pod for loose coffee & tea.

I actually keep the box and then fold a few time and tape the receipt on an inner lid of the box.
4uthebest, that is a good idea. In the past, I have scanned a receipt if I want to be sure to have a record of the purchase. Then I know I could print out a copy if needed. I am sure to label the scan with the name of the product so I can find it on the computer.

Actually the policy of needing a box for any return should be a minimum requirement of a business and it is totally foreign to me to ever think of returning to a store anything without the box it originally came in. I simply fold several times the receipt to minimize the chance of the thermal image degrading over time and it has worked thus far at least 3 years.
I had to mail the vacuum to Bissell, so having the box with the padding would have made it simpler, but I didn't. Bissell paid for the shipping, but I had to buy the box and the filler. Vacuums are awkward shapes. The only shops around here are Belk, WalMart, KMart, and grocery stores Harvey's/Save-A-Lot. So keeping things in their boxes for returns is important. We have to plan trips to larger towns to return things to the stores even when we bought it online. My sister ordered a bike basket from Toy-R-Us, so when we met her in laws in A larger town, we had to make a detour to another nearby military town where the Toys-R-Us is. I still have trouble understanding why Macon, GA doesn't have TJ Maxx or Toys-R-Us when they have everything else from Bass Pro to BBB to Marshalls to JoAnns to Dillards to Dicks....Macon just got a Hobby Lobby when the military town of Warner Robins had one with a Target, TJ Maxx, and a Toys-R-Us, but it wasn't much of a detour, so we combined our errands in the larger towns to get everything done.

Great to hear that but before I got the icoffee I had seen several people commenting about grinds in the cup so I know I am not on an island but again this speaks of poor QC which is characteristic of most things made today esp in China.

Interesting experience I just had. Used the decaf Tim Hortons and after brewing I pushed the button to take out the cup and it was no where to be found and I noticed it was hanging to the top so instead of pulling it up and out I pulled it down and out.. This was actually easier but I think it was an anomaly.

I bought the iCoffee Opus yesterday at BB&B with a 20% coupon. I think it makes very good coffee. I just hope it lasts longer than my Keurig did. I also hope I'm not having to clean the needle all the time. That's what irritated me so much about my Keurig. At least BB&B has the 365 day return policy.

What is the 365 day return policy? Has BB&B by you changed their policy as the one by me is the same as Kohl's which is without time limit??

Looks interesting, will definitely consider when needed. We still have the original TSV Keurig, no problems. We bought a 4 pack of filters for $10, makes better coffee than the one which comes with the machine. They have lasted for years.

When she gave me my receipt yesterday there was a return policy sheet attached to it. She told me their return policy had changed. It's 365 days with or without a receipt. If you don't have a receipt, it's less 20% (I guess they're assuming you used a coupon).
