First, I work in a dept store and see many people during the day...Due to my cancer, I take a medication that (one of the many side effects) is skin darkening....adding that I garden and play with my grandchildren at the pool, I am very, very dark......The comments I receive from strangers....."My, you've must have had a tropical vacation.....You are sooooo dark......Aren't you afraid of skin cancer (I laugh at that one)......You're skin is really going to regret that tan........I just smile, but inside I want to say....hey, I got cancer, it's a side effect....but I don't.....Just really tired of the questions......any suggestions on how to respond......Thanks ladies
