Re: how do you feel about being called a "fan"

I do not mind being called a fan as I have been called worse.  Actually I only take issue if one calls me late for dinner.!!!.

now and then on a d&c show, i hear gary refer to us as 'fans'  (instead of customers or viewers or whatever).

every time i hear it all i can think of is

"rah rah sis boom ba,

or

"swing to the left ,swing to the right,

stand up, sit down ... fight fight fight"

i know, i'm strange.

NOT a fan of being called a fan of anything  .... it reminds me of the "pack mentality" ... usually consisting of those that don't think for themselves .... people who are more comfortable being told what to do.

Maybe I'm veering off course here with my interpretation, but that's what I think of when the label of "fan" is used.  JMO

"Fan" doesn't bother me in the least.  If I like something, I would consider myself a fan of whatever it is I like.  I'm also a "fan" of Gary's....didn't care for him much in the beginning but now I find him very down-to-earth, funny and knowledgable!  I guess he just had to grow on me!  And I love him and Carolyn Gracie together!

@lOVETOSHOP i love gary and carolyn together too!
