Stacy is, by far, one of the best hosts at QVC. Her personality, intelligence, charm, and beauty are above any others. I believe her when she speaks of the importance of her family. She glows when talking about her daughter!
Those mundate items sold at QVC and guidelines hosts are expected to follow, along with the crazy hours certainly would not be family friendly or spouse friendly to anyone! How those people make a marriage work under those circumstances is beyond me. Add a family into the mix? Uh, seems like a disaster plan in the making that no amount of money would ever be worth.
Stacy has a good head on her shoulders and is making the correct decision for herself and her family. I applaud her even more for putting her family before the almighty dollar!
Selfishly, I will honestly miss Stacy since she was the only host I really enjoyed watching. She was intelligent and always gave a great detailed presentation of each product (usually by herself). When she worked with a vendor or other host, she communicated well and used a variety of words in her vocabulary (unlike some other hosts who have small vocabularies and repeat everything time and again). Stacy was always interesting and offering new information (without boring family stories or "memories")!
Children grow up quickly and Stacy will return to the workforce with her ambition and gusto intact plus the experience of raising her daughter rather than missing so many great moments of bonding, loving, sharing, and growth. Her entire family will become happier and better people!
Doubtful Stacy will return to TV selling; she's is much too intelligent to continue working in such a mundane, conservative field. She should spread her wings and fly much higher with other outstanding people who will keep her interests piqued and vice-versa!
Best wishes to a beautiful woman inside and out in all your endeavors.
