As far as I know it's still open, but I haven't been in it in a long time, not since I bought a new car battery.

No, but the only section that I ever see anyone shopping in is the Land's End shop. Now that Land's End is an independent company again, I wonder how long that will last. The manager of the LE shop told me they have a two year lease with Sears to continue using space in the store, but that can always be broken.

When I go to the mall, I always park in the Sears section of the lot because there's very few cars there and I can easily get a space.

Our Sears stopped selling Land's End a long time ago, but they still take returns from online. I never go to that mall except for a return for LE but the last time I returned an item it was dead. And the clothes were all jammed together - a real mess.

It's easy to get free shipping on LE so I'll miss being able to return items at Sears if they do not continue working with LE.

Sears has not closed however another KMart just closed - my favorite one to boot. All KMart stores closed in San Bernardino about 10 years ago - every single one. We still have one in Redlands but I do not like it - guess when I need it I will go there. Was so unhappy the one in Banning closed. Boo Hoo!!!

Forgot to mention, however that Sears stopped carrying furniture perhaps 10 years ago. I was really upset by that as they carried very good furniture.

No and we actually have three close enough to us so we have our pick. I still have a lot of the appliances we bought there even after many years.

I didn't realize that LE went back to being an independent co.

It happened at either the end of Q1 or very beginning of Q2. They trade on the NASDAQ exchange as LE.
