Where would one look to see rules for salons there with  wearing of mask?

Call the salon.  Or are you asking for other reasons?

@goldensrbest  Go to your state's and/or county's website.

It says they must practice social distaning.. Nothing about mask.

@goldensrbest   Well, if your mother got her hair cut, the salon did NOT practice safe distancing either!

Did your mother wear a mask?   Or is Indiana one of those states w/low covid cases?

Yes mom wore a mask,asked hair dresser if she was going to wear one,she said no ,she can not breath in it, not sure about low rates of infection.

I agree with the suggestion about calling the salon.  Around here our state guidelines are "suggestions" and "optional."  A nearby salon, for example, is putting clients side by side at the sinks and the stylists aren't wearing masks unless the customer requests it.  So, if you want your stylist to wear a mask, fine, but the stylist right next to you and her customer may not be in masks.  Another salon is practicing social distancing and won't let clients in unless they are wearing masks and use their hand sanitizer after entering.

@goldensrbest   If your mom felt uncomfortable she should have not have kept the appointment.

My stylist did not wear a mask, nor did I when I had my hair cut....same situation with my girl friends as well as husband....but only 1 customer allowed in the salon at a time, with the stylist.
