@hckynutjohn I did the same with the magazines for years. This year I stopped them all due to inferior paper and printing and price. They stopped the post cards also.
I read library books online free.
I called my cable company and alarm company and got discounts. I really was going to stop them.
The shipping charges are too high. I'll buy food with the savings.

How does QVC think that makes us long time, loyal customers feel?

I don't worry or get "mad" at things I have no control over. Just not worth it. It's all business.

I look at all the new items on Qvc. Then I google where I can buy them for less or for free shipping. I don't buy shoes anymore because of the shipping and return costs. I get free shipping from almost all websites I shop, Macys. Nordstrom, Kohls, Target. At the least free shipping with a minimum 35.00 purchase. I can't imagine how this is good marketing and sales for them.

This has always been one of my pet peeves. A lot of companies offer deals for new customers and nothing for existing and long-term customers.

I was certainly surprised when I heard Carolyn announce this free shipping deal only for the NEW customers. Really? I buy almost all of my clothes and shoes from QVC, plus other items. Extremely disappointed in QVC. How could they possibly think this was fair to us long-time loyal customers? I am giving up QVC.

I am now so aware of even $3.50 shipping charges. When I start adding the shipping costs I have paid up over the years, it is harsh reality. QVC could do something similar to Amazon Prime but instead we get to see $3.50/$5.50/$7.50 charges and then are penalized if we return products. This newest promotion has taken it over the line for me. If only QVC could see what was going on in each of our minds regarding the shipping debaucle. All we can do is hope they see their numbers fall, fall, fall if everyone stops buying for several weeks. To think that we have been customers for over 30 years and QVC has never given us almost 4 months of free shipping tells me that loyalty means nothing to them. I've seen friends like that recently but not companies. I can't do anything about the friends but I sure can do something about a company. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I too am a 30 plus year customer. What a slap in the face. There are plenty other places to shop. Let's all shop somewhere else. I'm done. Truly I am.
