The kindle,has a free app every day and many of its apps are free. You can check the Amazon page, Kindle department for the type of cookbook you want, they have very cheap books. Also, if you have Prime, there is a free lending library, for a select group of books. The. There are all the podcasts, which are free.

Periodically Amazon sends out a 24 free book credit, not related to lawsuits, it is just something they do.
