Thanks @Cakers3  I did understand that. I just didn't express myself very well, but that is nothing new for me

You can't win for losing around here. People were livid because I posted a sweet thought about  another family ,I have always liked..I'd rather go through life  with rose colored glasses , than be  in a perennial snit...

If people don't like Oprah they can go and post on the other thread.

For one thing her humanity, and another thing among many other ones, she came from a sad childhood,and was very poor, she was molested, she brought herself out of that ,many reasons to admire her.

@Hooty  I don't care. If I took umbrage everytime someone said something nasty, in or out of gov, I would be upset all the time

She has never done anything to me. I let everyone have their views, and vote the way they see fit..I never get my nose out of joint over this sort of thing. I vote for whomever I think will do the least harm ,and let it go

Oprah is smart and generous to many. I was always worklng when she did tv. Some people like her others do not. She does not bother me at all. She is only human. Makes mistakes as we all do.Obviously she has done very well for her self.
