A couple of weeks ago, it was up around 80 degrees in my area of Pa. We've had a long period with out rain and last night we finally got some, which now has turned to snow. It all adds to helping with our drought. I've seen where some folks in higher elevations of N.J. and Pa. are getting some very heavy snow. Be careful out there.

I think the storm will be centered in Pa.  In Maryland, we'll get slushy snow and rain mix.  No accumulation. Only will happen for an hour or so.

We had flurries on Wednesday but mostly rain. The temps are running in the low to mid 30s so I'm surprised we didn't get more snow.

@catter70   We have about 3 inches of snow and it is stll coming down. It is a heavy wet snow.

We have Direct TV and the snow accumulates on the dish and mucks up the TV.   My daughter cleared it off before she left for work but it will get covered again.

Oh, and our lights have flickered several times.  May end up sitting in the dark, who knows.

I think it is going to be a long day but still better than 95 degrees and humid.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 , You are more north of me and they've been showing the area where I think you live with snow on the ground. I'm in the LV area and it's not sticking here as of yet. Anyhow, sorry about the TV thing, but hoping at least that your power stays on. Stay safe.

Snow here... (Pittsburgh) the grass and shrubs are coated.

We had a "freak" tornado Wednesday...it hit my place and I saw it out my glass door!

I'm going to post about it in Community.

NW corner of PA near Lake Erie but inland a bit....about 1" of wet show on grass, roofs and cars left out over night....roads are clear and wet.

Gray day here.....the forecast is for snow showers/rain/ maybe snow for the next several weeks...in other words...nonstop GLOOMY!!!!

O well....five months to go til march!!!!

I actually don't mind snow TOO much...but I'm retired and don't have to go out....I  like to shovel for exercise...last year we didn't get too much accumulation hope it's the same this year. ..of course it's catch 22. No snow means less ground water. Hopefully rains make it up in springtime.....

I'm glad we're getttng ANY form of moisture...I live right against the Alleghney National Forest and boy I would HATE to see fires like in the area I used to live in....Orange County NY....I used to drive for my job thru the  areas where the current fires are burning...never thought I'd see some of those areas under evacuation orders from forest fires.

I hate to see forest fires anywhere. I feel bad for the poor animals.

We saw our first snow of the season in SW Michigan yesterday. It's that time of year. Snow happens.
