It breaks my heart that Deb hasn't been around but heck who knows, maybe she did start chemo again & can't be here now. I know she's a fighter- you could just tell by her postings but doing so much aggressive radiation & chemo caught up with her- oh how I pray she started chemo again & didn't completely give up..

Thanks everyone for your kind words- I know she'll appreciate it too.. she has to get better to get those shoes on her birthday cake... Waving at Deb in case she reads this thread- it's ok if you don't feel like posting but please know we love you & are thinking of you!!!

Hugs to all!

Wouldn't it be great if she were reading? She's clearly a fighter, and I hope you are aware how much your posts seemed to give her strength, direction, and even peace at times. You gave her laughter, too, at times when she needed it.

Take care, and cyber hugs back to you, Peachysue.

Re: doobdoo- webbie please don't delete this..

It would be wonderful if she were reading this thread, even reading all the threads & hoping she'd get a good laugh from a few- laughter is the best medicine. Oh I don't take any credit, it was like we were drawn together because of my husband's history & what he does for a living. Our heavenly Father will take care of our Deb and praying for a full recovery for our friend- we are only here for support and to care for one another.

You are very kind, doo- thanks so much. I've tried to stay away but have been reading some of the threads. I certainly didn't want to draw any attention to myself, as someone pointed out to me- that was my hint to exit stage right. But this isn't about anyone but Deb so please no nasty remarks on this thread. Sorry doo, you know how some follow people around..

Hugs back at ya and all that have kindly responded.

Peachysue, I think you're very special, and you have a tender and generous heart. You don't realize how valuable you are to the vast majority of us. Please hang in there and continue to share with all of us who appreciate you, okay? I know, we all get those "slings and arrows" sometimes and we also deliver them now and then, usually without really intending to do so. With luck, we're able to patch things up. Lots of really good people here, including you. The written word is so darned limiting, such a poor substitute for real life, face-to-face interactions.

You're a doll. Take good care of yourself.{#emotions_dlg.wub}

Doo, it's best I don't say anything as that only gives them more fuel. Like I said, this is about Deb and how she's doing. You are very kind.

If you let "them" run you off or limit what you want to say..."they" win. Don't let it happen. I didn't see the other thread you are referring to but I have no doubt as to why you have continued your support of debfla. Keep up the good stuff! Your intent is good.

I agree with you cody.

Continuing prayers for Deb. I hope others will join us on gloriajean's prayer thread in Among Friends.

Re: doobdoo- webbie please don't delete this..

I am catching up on my thread readings.

Add me to the list of those concerned about deb. And...yes...prayer has been a comfort and a powerful coping mechanism in my life as well as my DH. Suffice it to say, my husband has survived some health issues that many thought he would not. He had SO many people praying for him and it's been a few years and he is getting ready to celebrate his 69th birthday.

So, I wish the best for all of the posters here going through health issues as well as the families who may be suffering.

I wish you all Peace and the grace to accept what comes our way.

peachysue, I read so many of your threads with Deb and I responded to a few of them. You are a wonderful friend and I'm sure Deb knows it. As you said, it could be that the treatments are wearing her down and as soon as she gets stronger she will contact you. I am praying for both of you.
