Sad? Not me, I don't feel sorry for him or his parents. The guys a crook and a criminal. People who hurt others deserve to pay and suffer the consequences of their actions.

There are others who have ripped off and continue to rip off the general public and owe millions for their fraudulent activities and they continue to walk free, using every lever to delay justice. The rest of us would be under the jail by now.

Crypto man and Blagojevich are small potatoes as far as I'm concerned. Do the crime, do the time. Should be equal for all of us.

But it's not.

Twenty-five years is all he got.  He'll be 57 when he gets out of jail, plenty young enough to do more damage.

I wonder if he'll have to shave his head, as inmates often do.

I hope they shave his head.  That hairstyle does nothing for him.

When someone commits a crime I am sad for both victim and perpetrator.

Sad for the pain of the victims.

Sad for the loss of humanity and compassion by the perpetrator. Sad for a lost soul.

Am I angry as well, yes.

@Desertdi  I saw his story on CNN American Scandal series.  I could not take my eyes off the thickest hair I've ever seen on a caucasian male which is all real!  If I didn't see the wind blow his hair all over the place, I would have sworn it was a rug of all rugs.

Currently he is all gray & hair is still thick as ever.  Looks like a bad wig as he was being interviewed.  Daily News has prison photos which confirms it's not a wig!  Smiley Surprised

So if it is a wig, only his hair dresser knows. Smiley Wink

There is no excuse for his crimes.  But, Kevin O'Leary stated that he lost a lot but he will recoup his loses plus more as will the other victims.  He stated most victims with Madoff  did as well.   I didn't get the means or how as it was a bit complicated for me not understanding much about the market.  But, you can google his comments.
