courtney cason leaving qvc

[ Edited ]

via facebook

I look back at my first visit to QVC and by all accounts I am surprised I even made it all. I was so excited to come up to Philadelphia, but I lost my license at the airport, had to rent a car with a fax from the Georgia DMV, had a far from perfect interview, and had to call my parents to tell them I would probably need them to buy me an Amtrak ticket home. When I think back to that time, I smile and shake my head because who knew that one day of imperfect instances would shape my future and become my home away from home for the next ten years.

QVC is the kind of place that you always have to plan to arrive early. You have to factor in that you will stop and chat with at least five people before you realize your destination is still a Football field away. You’ll smile and wave to a few more people along the way, hoping to only be a few minutes late to a meeting that feels like a scene from “Cheers” where everyone says hello and knows your name.

That’s what makes this next part so hard. After 10 amazing years, I’m leaving QVC. To you, our amazing viewers, you’ve really watched me come into the person I am today. You have seen me meet the love of my life, get married, re-do an old house, and lastly followed me on this journey to become pregnant with our angel baby boy. Your support doesn’t go unnoticed and I thank you for being there every step of way.

To you, to my incredible work family and to QVC, thank you for all of the memories and crazy fun times these last 10 years. It has been a journey I will cherish forever, and I thank you for letting me be a part of your lives on and off the air. While I focus on my new family life and adventures ahead, I hope we can stay in touch:

I just saw her announcement on ITKWD.  I did not see Courtney a lot when she was on Beauty IQ because we did not get that station here.  10 years, hard to believe.  But best wishes to her, her family and her new baby due soon!

Re: courtney cason leaving qvc

I was checking which of the two QVC channels I receive might capture my fancy when I heard David Venable saying something about Courtney Cason on a split-screen with her.

After a few seconds, I realized he was bidding her farewell.  He had nothing but the kindest words to say about her.

In truth, I haven't seen her much lately, but I always reacted positively to her presence and thought she had a fabulous personal style with clothes.

My wish for her is a happy, healthy future with her baby and her husband.  May they have a sweet life!

OMG!  I looked up Courtney Cason's page, and on it she wrote that her mother will be the "best soon-to-be Yiayia" around.  "Yiayia" is the Greek word for "Grandma."

Honestly, I had no idea Courtney is of Greek descent (as am I).  I guess my embrace of her was a bit of her DNA speaking to my DNA.  I'm flabbergasted!  I've just always liked that gal.

I loved Courtney on Beauty IQ, she and Elise Ivy were so much fun. I like her sense of style, one night she had on the cutest strawberry dress, she looked like a little doll. I will miss you Courtney.

I was disappointed when she wasn't chosen to replace Lisa on PM Style. I don't watch Beauty IQ so haven't seen her for some time but I liked her style and her presentations when she was on the origional Q.

Good for her!  Can't imagine having a baby and working that crazy schedule (although I'm sure it's been done time and time again).
