I buy Charmin at Costco but I have no idea what I pay for it.

AmazonCommercial Ultra Plus Toilet Paper, 400 Sheets per Roll, 80 Rolls

$45.99

We are still using up our first case of this and have a whole unopened case stashed in a closet. After this spring, I said never again and I meant it.

Me too. I tried the Costco brand when that’s all they had this summer, but it was the thinnest toilet paper I’ve ever seen, had to use twice as much. So glad they have Charmin again!

I always purchased Wegman's TP at a cost of $14.99 for a 30 roll pack. They would have clip coupons for$2.00 off that price. You can no longer get the 30 pack, but a 6 pk costs $5.49. I know ya need to have it, but it seems like a rip off.

@catter70 I can't speak to the quality or softness of Wegman's TP but at Kroger they are selling Charmin Mega Ultra Soft in a 6 pack for $10.49 while Walmart is selling the exact same thing for $6.40 which I thought was quite the bargain.  I opted though for the larger package 9 mega rolls for $11 something. I still have an unopened 18 pack of Charmin in my storage closet which no one is selling these days.  I'm sure I paid way too much for that as it was from Kroger.  I've been saving that for???  It just seems like a good idea I suppose.

Another vote for Costco!

I've never been in a Costco ... you have to be a member.  Do they carry any name brands of TP or is it all just generic brands?  TIA

We only buy Costco’s TP. Best quality and best price.  The grocery store today had some off-brand TP in a huge display and the rolls were so small I know you would be changing out the holder almost every day. They used to sell 12-packs but now only 4-packs. $6.99. Terrible. I did find a big spray bottle of Lysol all-purpose cleaner there. They must have just stocked the shelf as it was full. Tempted to buy two, but I think things are starting to come back into stores more frequently.

@lovesrecess that is what I thought when I saw Wet Ones at my supermarket a few months ago.  Since then, I have only seen them at extortionate prices in Amazon.  It looks like the rate of Covid-19 infection is on the way up as we head indoors with the cold weather, so I don't expect an improvement in the availability of products manufactured in the U.S. anywhere in the near future. I haven't seen Lysol spray anywhere in a store shelf since January.  I recommend stocking up!!!

One does not "need to have" it.. My days out in the fields in the US Army? No toilet, no tp. Left with a shovel and whatever else you could find that worked best and was less uncomfortable.

We buy from Costco and we never got caught up in the hoarding. With only 2 of us a 30 roll pack lasted longer than necessary for us to not run out. Price is a little higher, but so are other things. I remember filling my car with regular gas for $.09 a gallon, and $.10 for Ethyl.

Yep, that's a need for sure! Even when things looked grim I never once considered going out in the backyard with a shovel. Woman Frustrated
