I can believe this. When HSN was first starting out, this was probably part of their package every year and was used as an incentive in the early years. In the later years, it's a great way to give them more money without giving them more money.

I can believe that about Bobbi. She's been there since the beginning, when they sold on radio and not tv and she said they used to deliver the products themselves.

Colleen hasn't been there that long.

@Caaareful Shopper, I've heard her mention that she will have an anniversary show in August but her actual anniversary was in mid-May. She posted a photo of a bouqet of flowers she received from HSN for it.

I know she has been there for 25 years but there were a lot of hosts at HSN prior to Colleen. I just meant she wasn't an original.

Well if getting rid of high salaried hosts was the solution, I'm sure there were plenty to choose from, i.e.,Colleen, Bobbie Ray, Callie, Shannon, etc. Not to mention Robin hadn't been there as long as Connie. I suspect threre was more at play than just that. Unfortunately, we'll never know.

I totally agree with you. That was exactly my thought when Robin Wall started. I remember when Colleen introduced her as a new host and my thought precisely was she is the next Colleen, I always enjoyed her shows. she has a very bubbly personality and I really like her.
