Oh my with some of the comments.

Congratulations to Jen.  I hope that she has found true happiness and love. 

I forgot to add that I did not consider her post desperate. I actually found it endearing. 

I had two girlfriends who prayed for God to bring a husband into their lives. They both married.

One is divorced and the other one is still married.

I didn't realize people did this type of thing. I guess some people are very open about their personal lives, I couldn't see Leah or Pat doing anything like that. Probably just a part of changing times though. Jennifer does seem quite outgoing and extroverted so I guess it makes sense.

This will be Jennifer's first marriage. She's always said she was a single parent when raising her daughter . . . and she did a terrific job! She'll be a wonderful wife, too.

@BirkiLady Is that how that works?  I was also a "single parent" but I was married before I divorced.  I don't think "single parent" means you were always single.
