Oh, there are other areas that a meteorologist can go in to besides tv weather reporting.

One could work for NOAA, for example.

There are jobs in the public and private sector that use meteorologist.

Being a tv weather person, is but one of many.

Not all meteorologist go out in a Cat 5 to do a live report.
