For light mildew (behind pictures, etc.) (not mold but light colored light rust color mildew):

 

I used unscented baby wipes spritzed with vodka.

Wipe dry with paper towels.

 

Seems to remove light mildew from walls without streaking.

 

The suggestions offered by posters re: heavier stains are good, imo.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
