My hubby just came home from the doctor with his blood work results and they are odd to me. His HDL was 58 and his LDL was 60 which adds up to 118, and is a great number. Where I worked we always totaled the 2 to get the total cholesterol # but his says his total cholesterol is 156, which is within the good range but much higher.Have they changed how they do this since I retired?
