ceiling fan direction...summer and winter

Let's see how much agreement we can get on this.

In which direction should a ceiling fan run in the winter...clockwise or counter-clockwise...to move the heat from the ceiling downward?

ETA...'cause I think I need to change mine. I can't get warm!!
