I just wanted to say thank you to you. Thank you so very much for thinking of my parents and asking how they're doin'! I so appreciate it!! I'm so extremely close to my parents, especially my mother, so when you ask how they are, it makes me smile and it touches me! Thank you. For the most my part my parents are good, my mother is battling pneumonia now but I'm taking very good care of herWink...been busy making lots of soups too!

Caters I apologize for not recognizing you, do I know you under another handle?? Other then stopping by with photos of the kids and maybe stopping by a post or two, I don't get here often so maybe I just don't recall. Either way I wish you and your family well. I hope you had a wonderful Holiday season and a colorful New Year.

And OMG yes, Christmas was a thrill this year!! That old excitement is back! I love it! Christmas for me has always been about the kids and to have someone who actually believes in "Ho-Ho" (Santa) again and who gets all excited is soooo awesome, it's an amazing feeling!! I love it!! I can't wait for Easter...dying the eggs, looking for the eggs with Gianna Marie & Anthony that the Easter Bunny hid, leaving him out some carrots Ect, what a blast it will be!! Next year will only be better. I so enjoy when kids believe, I want to hold on for as long as we can!

Still I get speechless when trying to describe the love a grandparent has for their grandchildren. In my case, I am so over the moon. It's a deep, protective and powerful love...it's an amazing feeling, it's magical!! The grandkids are the light in the light.

I'm very passionate about my family, my parents, especially my mother, my own kids, my husband but OMG my grandchildren!! When it comes to my granddaughter (Anthony is still an infant) OMG does she have me at her command, I am sooooooo under her little thumb!! The word "No" is NOT in my vocabulary!!!!!!!! (Unless when it comes to safe things)

It's funny how there's a HUGE difference in the way I raised my kids and the expectations and limits I had set for them compared to what I allow with Gianna Marie. OMG!!! Sometimes it gets me into trouble with her mother{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}...because sometimes when her mother says no and Gianna Marie comes to me, I'll say yes or convince her mother. Bed time too can be a challenging for me because I give into Gianna Marie, so now her mother got smart, now Gianna Marie is brought to us(Hubby & me) 30 minutes before her actual bedtime, so now there is no more bending the bedtime rules!{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

Being a full time grandmother takes up a lot of my time. We still live together, so I don't want to miss a thing and fortunately I'm Blessed with the opportunity to share it all, share in all the experiences and share all their days & nights!! LOVE it!!!!!!

If I may share a little more on Gianna Marie, she is a smart as whip, truly she is...for her age she can count to three all by herself, say, ABC all by herself and she knows sequences...such as when we count to 10 she can group them like, 8/9...8/9/10. The same with the alphabet, plus she recognizes all the letters if you ask what the letter is, she can tell you.{#emotions_dlg.devil2}{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}{#emotions_dlg.sneaky} Doctor says she very advanced for her age and even he is amazed!! Her vocabulary is growing everyday! Colors were tricky but she's finally getting it. This is what working with and interacting with your kids/grandchildren produces and not using the tv as a babysitter.

Thank you again for asking about my parents & thank you for letting me share with you!Wink
