cat going to bathroom on carpet

My cat started going to the bathroom,urine, right outside a bathroom/laundry area.

For the life of me I have no clue why. She has 2 litter boxes.Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can make her stop and get rid of the ordor. I have cleaned it with vinegar and several pet remover products. I have place things on the area to detour her from going there but it ends of blocking access to the bathroom. Suggestions please.
