@cakers Peace Pilgrim

Hey, @Cakers3  I really like your Peace Pilgrim quote. I read her book (Peace Pilgrim Her Life and Work in Her Own Words) many, many years ago. A wonderful woman. Someone to emulate, honestly.  The irony of her life (or death?) is that after walking this continent for 28 years, she died in a car accident after accepting a ride to a meeting where she was  to speak. 

 

I’m going to see if I still have her book, although I’m pretty sure I’ve given it away. I don’t usually keep books that I’ve read once. Hers would be worth reading again. An amazing woman.

@esmerelda  I'm not sure if Amazon carries that book anymore but it can be downloaded from the Peace Pilgrim website, I believe.
