Or in the case of a Keurig type brewer, you need to put the coffee mug under the pouring spout.  I didn't do that recently and felt so stupid.  At least I remembered before all the coffee had been brewed.

Or...in the case of we French Press people...pour a scoop of coffee into the French press only to realize you forgot to put the pot in the holder!

I did that (again) yesterday.  I was standing right there waiting, looked in the sink and saw my mug, then looked at the Keurig just as it was finishing dripping into the tray.

Not the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last.

... and here I thought this was gonna be a thread about really great coffee. I was going to add how much starting with a washed pot and basket (not just rinsed) really gives better results.

Well all I can say is ill admit to having set the dials on the washer, adding the detergent and closing the lid, and at the end of the wash I see I never added the laundry.

  Didit at least twice.  Oops!

Oh well sometimes it’s good to clean the machine.

@Pooky1  or putting in one scoop instead of two. I recently had a pot that looked like tea, and it was on the night when we stayed up for a Packer game and really needed strong brew that day.
