Re: been a good ride QVC no more ordering for me

I am NOT offended if you dont want to read the following.

Its a lot of boring, egg head info that cld help QVC offer their Customers the best service,  & increase Q sales:

 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Before I stopped ordering from QVC,  after Eons & Eons of "buying from QVC like a Drunken Sailor'ess" ..    I kept communicating with QVC "powers that be" that they needed:

A:

1) TRAINED, EXPERIENCED "Information Technology" (IT)" personnel, that people, professionals,  or at least IE Mgt Manager, directing IE subordinates

B:

2)  And computerized accurate Real Time Inventory System that accurately, timely communicates between:

-  Inventory <-->  Sales  <->Inventory <--> Ordering <--> Inventory <--> Mail Room <--> Inventory Sold

..  (albeit is.. Im am NOT an Industrial Engineer who cld professionally guide them with this step-by-step Sales Total Life Cycle,  who wld be able to stream out what's needed here,

3)    And they need their computerized "Information Engineering (IE) System" experienced personnel operating an instant, accurate backbone to the above integrated Lifecycle Inventory System.

4)     -  I even offered this Professional Counseling Svc **FREE**  to QVC!!!       So that *I* could continue buying from QVC.  I was sooo addicted   "buying like a drunken sailor-ess"    Nah Duh!

5)   Sooo   OK

Soo, I finally left QVC, after trying everything!     .. for a LONG, LONG  time.

6)    Current problem y'all are seeing now, complained here:

When QVC IE Dept updates their IE Software System  (whenever that is, since they dont notify the Customer) ..   they do NOT test it against *ALL* common Customer Browsers used, (ex, FireFox, Safari, Duck Duck, Chrome, etc,   so some Customers are out of luck ordering,

This is NOT a difficult task for QVC IT Dept to do, test their updated system to ALL commonly Customer used Browsers.

7)  Does QVC care?  Obviously NOPE. It's obvious

Customers, hungry to order what they see they QVC want,  just keep blinding stumbling around, trying to order from QVC.com using whatever Browser QVC IT Dept happened secretly test against QVC.com ordering.  And QVC Customers are left to stumble.  this Browser?  that Browser? This other Browser?

8a)   Or, Perhaps ordering by phone, Customer losing out on Ordering QVC.com - online, & not getting the benefit of ordering thru a "pass thru" like ex "MrRebates" to QVC, & Q Customer collecting Tax Free Money Back from MrRebates for their Q purchases, nice $$$ at the end of the month.

8b)  (btw, ive collected THOU$AND$ of *Tax Free Cash* by ordering from QVC.com thru using "pass thru" like MrRebates.

@Shelbelle  on QChat has been uniquely devoted to posting ALL these "Pass thru" opportunity, ordering Rates here on QChat - **FOR YEARS** she's been doing this - for us to save "Tax Free Money!"  rates, by rates, by rates - @Shelbelle  never giving up on us to save more money from buying via QVC.com!!

9) - Inventory isnt accurate when presented on TV/Online,

- Inventory isnt accurate when Customer Ordered

- Inventory isnt accurate when Customer Charges/Pay for the item

_Inventory may/may not be there to mail to the Customer.

-QVC may/may not let the Customer know the Item is Back Ordered, Out of Stock, Probably wont ever be offered (ex Problems with Vendor), etc etc

This would allow the Customer to plan their own purchases, substitutes, waiting periods,  rather than be hanging out there, blindly, while QVC is getting their act together!

These QVC Sales problems have dragged on, NOT FIXED for years & years & years & years.

I have prior QChat complaints/solutions for this, for yrs & yrs & yrs. at a minimum.

And written, called, sent, (Smoke Signals (not really this))   all modes of communicating straight to QVC Mgt, all the way up the line, TO THE TOP,  with this.

Nah Duh.

Businesses pay BIG BUCKS for the Info Ive presented above.  It cld even be enough INFO to help QVC decide what Company/Consultant they want to hire!  For help UP business, for more Q sales for themselves, & their Customers.

Nah Duh

QVC  obviously is happy with what they doing (or not doing) or what Q stock is doing.

And obviously, Q Customers love their Q experiences/items to keep with the Q as their Vendor.

My ONLY control after all this is -

Stop buying from QVC - until they get their Act together, which may/may not ever happen, as hard as I tried.

So, I took my money elsewhere, ("still with a toe in QVC"), in case QVC finally get their act together, before I'm lost to Alzheimer's, or my Death.  Then, QVC will surely not get my money.

Apologize yet again, QVC, to harangue abt this/you.

I just want to say you are my hero! hugs and love!  I have tried like you for a very long time and I will not able myself to have a nervous breakdown everytime I order, NOT worth it!

Ordering by phone is so much easier (for me and hubby, anyway).

That way, we jot down rep's first name, time we ordered, etc.

Nice folks working at the Q.

Ordering by phone means no credits from any of the online rebate sites, for me that is always an incentive to place orders, I love my rebates !!!  Often can be a deal breaker for me. .

@northiie57   WOW

Thank you.  Woman Happy

I didnt expect this.

Id been considering come back tonight & deleting all my prior harangue of Teckkie info I wrote above, boring any one but QVC MGT, (who I suspected, once again,) wouldnt concern themselves with bettering their Customer Svcs FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS, like (hopefully) me, back again??

Hope you have a nice night, @northiie57  & many wonderful days/nights to come!     GIF--Emoji--on-off-Smiling--THANX.gif

At the risk of sounding egotistical, Im gobsmacked:   that QVC doesnt benefit fr this info Ive repeatedly shared with them, via a multitude of mediums, virtually putting it under their nose whichever way possible!!

And I charge OUTRAGEOUS prices for this info, seriously.  And I'm foisting it into QVC Mgt paws, via ALL SORTS of communication mediums, not just QChat.  My only explanation is: "QVC Mgt doesnt give a S**T abt providing better services for their Customers.  They're happy with their far less QVC customers who *insist* on pressing money into QVCs greedy, "Golden Parachute'd"  hands.  Okkkayy Just gobsmacks me.    GIF--Emoji--Eyes-and-Hands-Fingers--Rolling-Around-like-Crazy.gif

@Bhvbum     If you are having problems with signing and or ordering and you are using Safari that most likely is the problem. I had to switch to Chrome because Safari does not work with Macy's, Sephora, Wayfair and other websites.  I use a Macbook with Chrome and I have not had the problems that others have with ordering or signing in. The OP has not said what browser she is using. Maybe she will let us know. If this were a QVC problem then none of us would be able to complete an order.

==========================

No, as you can see from a number of complaints for at least the last 15 years (I found a posting from 2010 from someone describing exactly what everybody else has problems with.). And I suspect QVC knows exactly what the problem is but are not willing to spend the money to fix it.

QVC is the only place I have this problem and I order from a number of different sites. No it is not my browser it is QVC. And no I'm not going to install another browser just to buy from QVC.

I order solely from the App.

Have never had a single problem whatsoever.

Never had to "phone in" an order.

Re: been a good ride QVC no more ordering for me

Question, OP, if you want to keep ordering and are overall satisfied with Q, why not use the app? Ordering direct on websites I find to be tedious nowadays and use their respective app if I order frequently purchase from a store. Just a suggestion, and not a criticism.

PS I would not call CS either to me that is antiquated technology for my lifestyle.

Not QVC, but I often have trouble logging into Sephora.  I've tried all the different fixes, and while I can change browsers and log in, the site on the other browser doesn't act right.  I tried chatting with them online and they suggested I re-install my browser.  That's not happening.  Funny, as soon as their sale was over, I had no problem logging in. This happens regularly to me on just their site.

Hi @Icegoddess   Woman Happy

The same seemed to often/always happen when QVC had FREE S&H days, even aware of this, trying absolutely every time of the day/night, & every technical solution to overcome the problem.  Na Dah.  Just another disappointment on the Wood Pile of Q abstinence.
