Ok--so I don't get along well with MIL because I married her only child. She never had a career and basically i took away her reason for living. She still doesn't get that I work FT, have 2 kids and am not going to iron his boxer shorts or dockers that we buy specifically b/c they don't need ironing. My dilemma-they moved 800 miles away from us about 9 years ago. Best thing ever to happen in my marriage. She comes to stay with us 3-4 times a year for 1-2 weeks at a time. FIL comes less than that b/c he works. We had to move our oldest DD into the guest room to make room for new baby coming in June. I figured this would curtail the visits, or they would stay in a hotel. She called yesterday to talk about bringing her dog when she comes to see the baby in June. I'm having a c-section June1, and I think my house will be crazy enough with me recovering from surgery and having a brand new baby at home w/o her bringing her dog. DH says that our 6 year old can sleep on air matress in living room, and the olnly one making a big deal is me. What do you think?
