I did it again! Lost one my beloved earrings; put them both on and only one back; got distracted and not the other. It is now in Walmart or Dollar Tree heaven (yes, I shop both stores). Another one of a kind was lost at the Radio City Christmas show in N.Y. a few years ago. Still miss it. Why is it that my favorites are the ones that I loose; any else have this problem?

Retrace your steps? ...or call and see if someone turned it in?

If they are leverbacks, you can use the one remaining as an enhancer.

Been there and done that! I don't live very far from the stores but no luck. It is kind of a big dangle so I'm sure someone picked it up. I'm thinking of turning the other into a necklace but it really looks like an earring. Rats!

Yes! My every day go to earrings for over a decade! I have the one in the console of my car, don't know if it's worth it to take it to a gold buying place.

I know that not everyone likes to do this, but sometimes I like wearing two different earrings. For example I'll wear a scarab earring in one ear and a hamsa or evil eye in the other, even though I haven't lost any. I've also picked up a lone earring at a flea market or bazaar on occasion. I like having fun with my jewelry. I'm probably in the minority however.

Never give up hope. The last thing my mother gave me was a pair of gold hoops. I lost one and later found it in the car, then a year or so later I lost one again. One day I was looking out the window and saw something shiny in my neighbors driveway, it was my earring. It had been gone for weeks and had been run over but it was not damaged to severely that I couldn't wear it. I wear them everyday.

Good Luck
