@Georgiagrama

Like i said..i don't have Prime but still  offered free shipping on the items i ordered.

Ordered August first  and still not here.!.

but yesterday the 6th i got a notice from my CC that that i was charged for my Amazon order,,but i checked my order stats  and order   lwon't be here until possibly Aug.12th!

I recently read in a newspaper that mail carriers are not allowed overtime anylonger ..so some packages aren't being delivered on time...but what about Amazon workers i wonder?

Amazon processes returns as soon as the item is scanned in via the post office, ups, etc.  They don't even have to receive the return to process your refund.

Amazon shipping isn't really free if you are a Prime member.  You are just prepaying for your shipping.  You really need to weigh whether you order enough to justify that prime cost especially because for the most part, orders over $35.00 ship for free.

@Lipstickdiva

That's why i don't have the Prime..i  just don't order enough items in a year to justify paying for it to save on shipping.

@cowboy sam , I took the plunge but I'm probably going to cancel.  Not a big fan of the pricing games with them.

It depends what you are buying. I had to wait a few weeks for electronic items. This is fine during this crisis.

We have about 10 family members on our Prime account and just today it said we have place 210 orders within the past six months. It´s worth it for us.

Within the past month Prime delivery was taking at least 4 days. Everytime I called they asked what could they do for me. I said how about giving me a $10 credit. Got four of them for the month.

Now everything is on track. One day or two day delivery.

@Sage04   Prime is definitely worth it for me.  I can order, and do,  order a lot.  Everything from an inground pool cleaner to a bottle of shampoo.   Unless it's a third party seller, there is no shipping fee and it's always fast delivery.  They are definitely back on track and I often get next day delivery.  Returns are credited almost instantly and if there is a problem with an item, many times they don't even ask for you to return the item.

QVC, on the otherhand, well, let me just say I have one more easy pay on two clothing items I returned and still have not been creditied with the return.   Woman Frustrated

Amazon is fabulous for me, music, video & products fast delivery  but.....

I went to a job fair a few years back, 12 hour shifts, on call -- if someone else calls out must be available to go in.... I walked out

good for "us" bad for employees IMHO

in the 70/80s Nabisco had the same requirements   I declined that employment also
