As I told you guys that remember I moved my father in with me,82 mild dementia and I mean mild, My husband and I told him he is not allowed to eat or drink in the livingroom or my sunroom,they both have leather furniture in there, now a few months ago he put pen marks on one,so no more ink pens for him,and now he spilled coffee on the livingroom furniture,it took some elbow work to get both out. He even had a cup with a top and straw. I am not trying to be mean but we paid a lot for this furniture,and i try to explain these are the new rules. I try not to hurt his feeling but I am to the point where I just say what have to say and leave it at that.respectfully of course!
