Re: activity ideas for period of shutdowns

My Kindle is filled with great books, I'm never bored.

When not working:

Walking

Exercise at home (assuming the gym is closed)

Catching up with people by phone

Spring house cleaning

Work on a craft

Purge unwanted clothing and HH goods

Cook & bake

Wash the car inside & out

Clean out the closet

Clean the yard of winter debris (weather permitting)

@queendiva great idea about closet and purging - perhaps good to start the spring changeover early, weed out and drop off at Rescue Mission.

Re: activity ideas for period of shutdowns

We can turn anything negative into a positive. My nephew is going to clean out all three kids rooms and paint the oldest one and transition it from a girls room into a teens room. He also said he is going to teach the boy to learn about the basics of car ownership. I think he should do that to the girls also but that is a whole other subject.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

@Warrior2022  which coloring book looked like fun to you? walking more would definitely be good - for cardio, for fresh air, for a little trim-down for me.

Not sure if you really wanted to know but Mine is called promises to bless your heart.

@Sooner  i'm putting "P & P" on my list!   have you been out to see the new "Emma" - i found it so charming and well-done.

@ms traditional Thanks for the suggestion.  I'll check that out!  I think you will LOVE this series.  Colin Firth and all the rest are wonderful.

i love that series too.   have you watched "Inspector Morse" ?  @FastDogWalker2

I enjoy Midsomer Murders too.  I watch for free, via Roku on Pluto TV, channel 375.  It airs episodes continuously, 24/7.
