??? about Nook Color or Nook Simple Touch, need your advice........

I would like to give my sister a Nook reader (a friend suggested the Nook Color). Sister reads a lot but does not have a computer. Does one need to have a computer with an e-book?

My sister wants an e-reader that is very simple to operate.

How does one initially "set up" a Nook?

What do you suggest, the Nook Color ($149) or the Simple Touch ($79)?

Is the only difference one has color and one does not?

I will eventually buy one for myself, also. I have a computer.
