Zulily Shuts Down -- AGAIN (March 2025)

After a much-hyped comeback, and being purchased by Beyond, Zulily has shut down, again.  It took less than a year this time.  But it may be temporary.

Beyond sold Zulily to Lyons Trading Co., which operates e-retailer, Proozy.

Proozy claims they'll have a re-launch event for Zulily soon.

I checked Zulily out three times in the past year after it came back.  It was terrible.  Not many items, and too high prices.

The website was horrible, in that you could only search on elementary filters.  That made online shopping extremely frustrating.  I always ended up giving up and leaving the site after just browsing for a few quick moments.

I looked at Proozy.  Their website and selection seems to be even worse than Zulily's was.  I won't be back.  Good Luck.

I agree @Caaareful Shopper . I was so looking forward to Zulily returning. It was a fun site originally and had some fantastic deals. After it's last comeback I too was extremely disappointed. No deals whatsoever and shipping was high. I sure miss the OG Zulily.

@Caaareful Shopper   I never tried Zulilly because I never saw even a popup that I liked.  Seems to me something worth a popup ought to be inviting to lots of different shoppers.  I obviously won't miss that company - just sad to see more and more retail disappear.

@Caaareful Shopper.  I really missed Zulily when it closed.  I bought a ton of shoes and many really nice things for the home and garden.   However,  I was never even able to get on the new website so don't know what I missed...apparently nothing.

@Kachina624

I even signed up in advance of the new Zulily "opening"...   Never even got an email from them.   I think I got one ad from them...with only a couple items listed.   Then, nada.  di

@Kachina624  You missed absolutely nothing.  They tried to look like a slicker version of the original Zulily.  But it was actually a sad, extremely boring, and expensive new Zulily.  They got a lot of complaints on their social media pages.

When Qurate owned Zulily I purchased so many great things there.  They had the benefit of being able to sell the small number of remaining sizes and & colors to help clear out QVC inventory.

I have 5 pairs of fabulous Fly London (remember them??) shoes & boots, all from Zulily at half the prices QVC was selling them.  Isaac Mizrahi, Clarks, NYDJ jeans, Le Creuset, Laura Geller, Jai jewelry, etc. -- I got almost all of my purchases from these brands from Zulily.  Plus they had great Christmas decorations.

They still had a lousy search engine for finding things, but the hunt was worth it to me!

Their return policy was awful and I ordered from them once and never again

Even though they no longer owned it, having been acquired by QVC-Qurate has been the kiss of death for many a once growing and thriving enterprise.
