How about they did it out of the goodness of their hearts? The couple wants to donate ALMOST all of their wealth, what an awesome idea!
All the naysayers are getting upset at the posters who question why anyone would doubt the Chan-Zuckernerg generosity instead of explaining their stance.

Shame on those who want to make it political.

People in this country have taken sides on politics like they take sides on athletic teams. Just choose a side and defend it to the death. And assume everyone else feels that way.
I just tke the wait and see attitude and I try to always form opinions and make decisions on facts, not just what people say or how I feel about them.

Why not?
It inspires others to do the same, that's already been proven by Bill Gates.
So again I ask: Why not?
Even these people are wondering if Billionaires with money to push their agenda are a good idea. Vaccinations, Birthcontrol microchip and Common Core?

What's so difficult about accepting things at face value? The Chan-Zuckerberg family wants to donate 99% of their stocks (worth about 45 billion dollars), good for them.
