For those shoppers who use Zappos and 6 p.m. it was announced via news thread on the Fox channel that a hacker compromised millions of accounts accessing names, addresses and phone number information through a server located in Kentucky. I received an email yesterday about this. Some posters claimed it was probably a hoax. I took it seriously and did as the company advised. I changed my password and my credit card is not in their file, so that is not a problem there. 6 p.m. is an outlet for Zappos, that is why the two companies were linked. I tried to find an unsubscribe link on the Zappos site. How do you remove your account information completely? A phone call perhaps?
