I have very few Green Zebras left and those are nice for Caprese salads- in terms of color with the roasted red peppers and mozzarella cheese.

@Kalli I'm with you! Cooked tomatoes are fine with me, but that's the only way I'll eat them. Mayo belongs mixed-in with tuna or chopped eggs, not spread on my sandwich!

I love summer tomatoes in a BLT on dry toast. 

The only Mayo I like is Richard Gere in An Officer and a Gentleman.

Love fresh tomatoes, but I've never eaten a tomato sandwich.  

I also eat them with sugar.   Same with cucumbers.

My favorite is fresh tomato soup with grilled cheese.

JJM,  my dad's big tomatoes  are coming in.   I've been having tomato sandwiches once or twice a day.  My favorite.   This year, I also drizzle a good balsalmic vinegar and olive oil  on top with a few chopped scallions, and eat them open faced.  I'll miss summer when it's gone.
