Some long time youtube posters who have a very large following and/or have been at their uploading content that gets traffic can earn up to $21,000 per post.

I do know for a fact that youtube does monetize youtubers or else many of them wouldn't do it.  I think the more followers you have and the more you post the more $$$ you can earn.

Jeffree Star is one who has a high net worth from youtube.  His videos also helped him parlay his way into his own cosmetics company.

This is all accurate. At the same time, from what I've seen, it looks like the more successful youtubers make most of their money from corporate sponsorships. The adsense from youtube is a nice bonus, but not the main way they make their money.

My niece has monetized TikTok. She's been gifted a $400 vacuum and a sponsorship with Target. She's 14 and has sold previous TikTok accounts to others who want her followers. It's a real business enterprise and very lucrative if you can gain a following and create viewable content.

I have a niece who is not exactly a svelte model type and she is taking cruises, going to Europe and doing all kinds of expensive things.  I cannot believe all the money they are making.  Wise kids.

Yepper.  They are the techie generation that uses social media to their advantage @Nonametoday
