Your feeling on time change (Spring and Fall)

Well, it is near that time of year again. When we "spring forward" in time.  My personal feelings are that I wish the times changes would stop.  I don't care if they pick Standard or Daylight Savings, but I wish they would pick one and leave it all year.  What do you feel?  (Not that how we feel will make the slightest difference).

Bring on the spring forward time change. I can't wait.

I seem to never get used to the fall change.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I feel the same, pick a time and stay with it for Pete's sake!

I'm tired of changing clocks twice a year.  I love DST and hope it will stay like that.  I like it getting dark later in the evening whether it's winter or summer.

Also, clocks don't like being turned back and forth twice a year.  My most expensive clocks no longer work because of this practice.  Repair is not an option as it's really expensive.

I don't like it.  I would rather they leave it at DST, but whatever, just leave it alone!!

Re: Your feeling on time change (Spring and Fall)

I very much disliked the Spring time change for most of my life. I retired a few years ago.  I worked full time since I was a teenager.  The last 20 years of my career before retirement, I was out of the house 13 hours a day on weekdays.  So that loss of one hour from moving the clock forward made me so depressed, losing one hour of my precious free time.  Also didn't like that there I was trying to go to sleep early to wake up early, with most folks up and out enjoying the longer days. Now I don't care about it as much, but when I think about for too long, it brings back a little feeling of sadness.

I believe Arizona is the same all year.  Not sure why every state can't do it.

I do like when we spring forward because I enjoy more daylight.  I hate when it is dark before 5pm
