The ocean. Love walking the beach and picking up seashells. I also love the woods. I can’t walk the woods like I used to because of ticks. Home. My Dad taught me to love home from the time I was a little girl.

My morning spirited walks along the ocean, listening to classical music.

My late afternoon lazy lounging while reading a book with a glass of wine in hand and, of course, listening to classical music.

I've always been a cocooner, and I am getting more and more cocoon-y as I age. I'll probably end up in the fetal position, of course listening to classical music. :-)

My Happy Place?  Well, home is the perfect happy place, but I have decided that I need a happy space, too.  Sometimes it's in the car ... for a moment of silence.  Sometimes on the front porch ... for a breath of fresh air.  Sometimes in the garage watching DH work with wood ... for a feeling of peace.  Sometimes with my friends or family ... just to know I'm loved by more than me.  LOL

I love my alone time wherever I find it.  I also love the moments that those I love don't give me that time.  I can curl up with a book and you'd better go away, or I'll sit and enjoy the perfect silence of an early morning/night.

I feel very fortunate, sometimes I have to pinch myself.

I love any sort of location as long as I am with my husband and

our dog (s).  We are adopting another rescue dog soon, so that

will make the four of us...

I love spending time with sons and their lovely wives and our grandchildren too.

Re: Your Happy Place

We live across the road from the ocean.  Near the tippy top of our house is a Widow's Walk. I love standing there watching the waves and taking in the salt air. It clears my mind and calms my disposition.

I love being at home in my apartment with my cat.  But there has been a very special place way back in my childhood growing up on my grandmother's farm.  There was a place where there were tall grasses and I could just go there lay down and hear bees, bumblebees, and other insects humming around me.  It was so peaceful and nobody knew I was there.  To this day, when I am stressed I can transport myself there and find peace and calmness.

My happy place is my home. When the weather is warm enough, my happy space is our sun porch watching and listening to the birds-otherwise the family room with my TV and iPad.
