My happy place is being home with nothing to do and no where to go.

My happy place is when/where I'm in a peaceful, grateful zone and forget to worry, regret or be upset about something.

Anywhere there’s water and water sounds.

Big trees (think redwoods).

Snuggled up with a purring kitty.

Capitola.

Cambria.

Any of several restaurants where I get excellent food, service and ambiance.

Watching British television.

Reading history.

(thread title)

An ice rink, and it goes unsaid, sitting where I am at this very moment, our home's 4 season patio room.

Re: Your Happy Place

[ Edited ]

Early retirement afforded the opportunity relocating closer to people who mean everything to me. My happiness isn't contingent on any one place or location. Peace of mind inside-out first and foremost. Lifestyle matters. Keeps me balanced and healthy. Wholefoods my favorite store! No exaggeration spiritual experience. True! Yesterday as everyday enjoy bountiful harvest of vegetables. While eating thought! Life is beautiful. Exercise various activities. Love being able to enjoy many venues in my area. Most of all connection mind body soul-relationship with my high power. Blessings of health and happiness to you.⚘

My happy place is in the den with DH and two kitty cats. Early retirement has afforded me the luxury to be a kid again.

Sitting at the sewing machine or the quilting frame.

The ceiling could come crashing down around my feet, I would look up - say oh dear and go right back to what I was working on!

My happy place is not so much a place, although I do have some places that make me happy, but it's more like a certain mood I can achieve at times --- and it doesn't matter where I am.  I will be honest and say --- it doesn't happen really often any more, but occasionally, this peacful, serene feeling will come over me for a couple minutes -- I wish I could bottle it --- and retrieve it whenever I want!

I might be driving somewhere and look up at the sky and it is just the most gorgeous shade of blue with all of these fluffy white clouds and it will light up my day!

Or I could be sitting on my back patio and suddenly I will look up and see a darling bunny hopping around, eating some grass and just enjoying being alive!

If I could choose one place that puts me in a true happy place it would be near the ocean.  Tranquility and a sense of peace and calmness comes over me.
