@gidgetgh     That is funny.  I can barely remember, but I know it was 1973.  Yours was special if you can remember the date and time too!

It was late summer before 9th grade - 1961. He and I had been flirting for months - I guess we were sort of an "item". We lived in a small town in Iowa and I met him one evening at the County fair that was held in our town. He walked me home....got as far as our garage - stopped - put his arms around me and kissed me! Wow! I was crazy about that guy, but unfortunately we (my family) moved away about 6 months later. Who knows where that relationship might have gone! He ended up marrying one of my best friends in that little town, and I think they were very happy together - good for them! But - what a kiss!
