Cookie 16, I too am originally from Brooklyn and most of my current friends are from Brooklyn, NY.  My block was made up of Jewish, Italian and Puerto Rican and we were all very close friends..  We moved from Brooklyn when I was young,  we all still see each other or keep in touch cause some friends did move away...

I am told I met Terry when I was 2 and she was 3. Been together ever since! We were in the same school from K-12. We were in the same sorority in college, in each others weddings,have celebrated and mourned each others lives with everything in between. An amazing friendship!

 

Though we now live in different states, we are in regular phone/text contact! We do go back and forth with in person visits! I would do anything for her and she for me.
