Kylie Jenner is not only the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, she's also on her way to becoming the youngest self-made billionaire.

The 20-year-old graces the cover of Forbes' August issue and the magazine estimates her current wealth at a whopping $900 million. Her famous sister Kim Kardashian West is only worth $350 million by comparison.

According to the magazine, the new mom will reach billionaire status by next year making her the youngest billionaire ever -- male or female. The current title holder is Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg who became a billionaire at age 23.

How did Jenner make her fortune?

"Social media is an amazing platform," Jenner told Forbes. "I have such easy access to my fans and my customers."

In addition to bringing in millions from her families' reality shows and many more millions from product endorsement deals, Forbes estimates her booming makeup company, Kylie Cosmetics, is worth nearly $800 million. Jenner is the sole owner.

"I struggled for a minute with finding something to do on my own," Jenner explained.

That's when the makeup-obsessed teen decided to launch her own company.

"I said, 'I'm ready to put up my own money. I don't want to do it with anyone else,'" Jenner said, adding that she used $250,000 of her savings from past modeling gigs to make her first 15,000 lip kits. She used her social media accounts and loyal following to tease the kits which sold out in less than one minute in 2015.

"Before I even refreshed the page, everything was sold out," Jenner recalled.

Reflecting on the future, Jenner said she plans on working on Kyle Cosmetics "forever" noting that maybe one day she'll "pass this on to" daughter Stormi "if she's into it."

I think the Kardashian clan owes much gratitude to mom.  She has been the force throughout their endeavors.  Mama Kris is the entrepreneur.  I doubt Kylie would have had that initial $250,000 investment without Kris.

Hmmmm.  I have a problem with the "self-made" moniker since she was born into wealth and priviledge.  Plus, her name became infamous after Kim's exploits made their family spectacle a goldmine for just breathing and posting photos online.  All this before she embarked on her own businesses.  I don't begrudge her for creating her own notch of the fortune, but self-made?  Hardly.

Kylie finally admitted after Years of denial of lip enhancements, that she had lip fillers removed. She wanted a more natural look.

Hopefully she will invest wisely and not blow her money on ridiculous expensive things like a lot of young wealthy people do.  She can make that money last a lifetime for her and her children to be if she makes good financial decisions.  Must be nice!

Who's buying her makeup? Her company is worth $800 million? And she's a "cosmetic queen"? I wonder if she developed the line herself - I highly doubt it! 

DD and her friends don't. I guess Sephora sells it - I'm not sure. Maybe the preteens are! I would NEVER buy it. I actually was given one of her liquid lipsticks as a gift with purchase when I spent a certain amount at a gift store. I tried it just to see. For me it was nothing special, and it didn't stay on. I like the "old" Mally High Shines much better - and so many others too! 

20 years old, on her way to being the youngest billionaire, single mom - guess she has it all!

I admire her for developing her own source of income, however, she could never have enjoyed such immediate success if it weren't for the Jenner/Kardashian name.  The makeup industry is highly saturated and competitive.
