I remember reading a while back on one of the spoiler sites that Nicki's drinking would have tragic consequences, and for some reason thought at the time they'd parlay this into one of their 'message' stories; this time about drunk driving, so this one really doesn't surprise me...

Exactly, no closures... Hey, I'm all for them developing story and keeping things up in the air for a bit, but they just seem to keep introducing new wrinkles without ever doing much to deal with the wrinkles they have...

New Kyle... blah... Looks like he's about sixteen... and I'm not believing for a minute that this little guy could take Austin out in a fight, if that's where they're going... I kept reading where we'd see more of Austin, but if by that they meant nothing more than a series of flashback, well, that's just lame. I think it's time they sent all of young Genoa City off to camp... Such an unappealing lot.

And yea, Shark, the sloppy writing and inconsistencies have become really glaring and it weakens the stories, overall. I take it they've had writer changes and the transition apparently hasn't been too smooth.

I like the new writer or associate producer whatever his title is. They just need to tidy up loose ends more. We're not toddlers and can remember when we saw a dead man fall out of a closet, then, he drives away in a car. sheesh............ Victor, would had thrown Hilary out on her ------------to had gotten her room. One call to the hospital adminstrator and her or Joe Blow down the hall would had been out. If you have a choice of giving a room to somebody on Medicaid or Victor Newman ?....mmmmmm toughie there. LOL

Mon. Adams jumps Sage's butt for talking to Chelsea about him. Butt out !

Nick is worried about financial liability (I would be too)lawsuits over the dead and those in hospital. Avery, tells him it's the contractors fault not his. (I don't agree on that, myself) He was visited 3 times by the inspector and even if he didn't know still no excuse in eyes of the law. They probably called him too. Avery, says it's the contractor's fault and problem don't worry about it. Whatever..........

FINALLY, Phyllis is there for her daughter who just ID'd her dead husband. About time she showed up. Nick, is still clueless. Jack, too, I guess. Since Phyllis knows it's probably a matter of time till Jack knows.

Jack's not real happy to come home from the hospital and see he has house guests and especially Adam being there. Too stressful for all.

Tues:

Summer and friends have to watch a video that Austin made for her to watch. His last performance I guess.

Chris & Paul get into it over Nicki as well as Phyllis. Chris's plate is full what with those 2 women and she wants to bury the both of them. Go girl ! LOL Paul, will be on Team Nicki you can bet your diamond ring on that. She'll waddle in there all teary eyed and acting as innocent as a newborn. "what did I do? somebody help me" LOL is what I figure she'll play. That will stir up Dylan when he sees his Father arrest his mother. Hope, he doesn't try to spring her .

Both Austin and Abby seemed to keep hedging when the subject of whether or not Austin has family... I still wonder if 'Austin' will show up as a member of his family... There's still something just not right about this whole thing...

Of a 'cousin'... I'd rather just see then bring back Austin as Austin and explain it some semi-realistic way... As if anything about any of this is remotely realistic...
