The Making of a Surgeon: Working with the Dead
The position of which I speak was located in a large medical school/hospital/clinic complex and oversaw twelve surgical specialty departments' specific type of educcation, plus trauma training, using donated tissue.
What would you write about?
Couldn't have been a great surgeon if there were a lot of dead! 😦
(In training...)

It's very difficult for us sitting out here to truly understand the challenges you face every day. I am really sorry to learn you suffer from this debilitating disease. My hope for you is that something good will come your way via stem cell research. XXX

Today I was thinking of writing a children's book specifically for a granddaughter.
It would be about her incredible dog (our whole family felt this was our dog). This dog was three when she was born, ten years ago.
It would involve photos as well as drawings of this dog, detailing where it has lived, some of the adventures in its life, and its interactions among the so many people who loved her. It would also include the naughty adventures with other family dogs this dog was a part of....
It's in the thought process, in my head really. It would be funny, loving and a book to read over and over....
I think it might help with the grieving process. And it would also keep this dog alive for all of us--
I find myself still so sad about the loss of this beloved animal. I am trying to turn my attitude around to feel gratitude instead. It's just so hard.

I'll think on this, but just my opinion, "working with the dead", might be better left a chapter, not part of the title. I'm sure it's important. But it wouldn't work for me.
Now, "My life in a library" would be my title. I loved working there when I did. It was one of those, I'd work there, even if they didn't pay me, sort of jobs. Everyone should be so lucky!

My Life in a Law Firm. I worked 36 years in numerous law firms and I have always said I could write a book on the lives of some of the people I have worked with - a crazy bunch of people for sure - it would definitely be entertaining!
