@CareBears wrote:@Pqfan I watch the Osmond video's on Youtube nearly every day, and I still drool like a schoolgirl over Donny, that man just get's better looking every year, my DH just shakes his head and said he knows I love Donny more than him (not true BTW).
I have actually met the family on a number of occasions, Jimmy sang "You are so beautiful" to me when I was 17 years old and kissed me smack dab on the lips, I have kissed Donny 3 times on the cheek and had my picture taken with him, and I was at a doll signing with Marie and she told the security guard that my family and I were her friends, I could have died and gone to heaven.
I have been a fan since I was 9 years old and always dreamed of meeting them one day, envisioning how it would go, and they were all beyond my wildest dreams as far as how nice they all were, and to me anyway it seemed they went out of their way to make me feel like I was the only one in the building, they were probably afraid not to, I can just see the loony look I must have had on my face when they first stepped onto the stage, my tongue hanging off to the side, my eyes rolling into the back of my head, the puddle of drool on the floor, you get the picture, LOL!
Wow what a great experience for you! I had a crush on Donny Osmond when I was in grade school. He is still so handsome and the whole family seem like wonderful people. I like Marie too -- she has a great sense of humor. I have told my husband lately that I would love to see Donny and Marie in Las Vegas. That is the LAST thing he would want to do, so I won't get my hopes up. I did see Davy Jones once when he performed at Epcot here in Orlando. And I saw Rick Springfield there too. Both were great.

I'm old enough to be my boss's mom, my doctor's mom, my lawyer's mom.......
I'm kind of a history buff so when my kids were in school and I was trying to give them easy tricks & stories to remember American history, I told them when I was born, there were only 48 states.
Let that one sink in.

@software My dentist whose oldest child is in college is actually the son of the dentist I used for years long long time ago. His name and my son's first name are the same with a seven year age difference so his Daddy always wanted to know how my boy was doing since he only saw him every 6 months growing up. Plus I wanted to hear his boys doings as well. Now the man I heard stories about from his "little boy" days is drilling on my teeth!!

*I was watching HSN and the lady that sells all the jeans there mentioned the clothes she used to wear to the 'Love Ins' and the show host, Coleen, didn't know what that is because she (not young, either) is too young to have been around then. I know what it is and I went to many of them.
*When you forget the name of the lady on HSN that sells all the jeans there.
*When, in the middle of posting, you suddenly remember that it's Diane Gilman that sells all the jeans on HSN.😳
