We have to close up our Lake Place on October 15 and put the boat in storage until April 15. It's always a sad day. I am not fond of winter, when it gets dark early and the weather is cold.

I think I would enjoy Autumn more if I could stop thinking about winter coming next.

I know it's over when it's too cold to play golf in shorts. That usually happens sometime at the end of September or early October.

The 95 temps drop to 80. I live in central Texas. When the leaves turn, when the sun is not a hot yellow color, but softens to a golden glow, when college football starts, when the scents of flowers and trees and the ground turn to a musky smell. I’m ready. Autumn/Fall is my favorite season.

Being a northern California girl I love summer and dont want it to end and will hold on to it as long as I can. Even though summer might end September 21, In my mind It doesnt end until about October 20th. {Im in denial}

I hate the bay area winters, they are cold and miserable and seem to last forever. Give me 90 degree day over a 50 degree day anytime!
