My notifications only come to my Gmail account and not my hotmail account?
Maybe it is the Google + account that shows all of them listed?

I found this out by accident, when one subscribes on YouTube it shows up in Gmail so you can know when a new video is added.

Hope this makes sense... surprised me!

If you don't use Gmail, the advantages to a subscription would be getting notifications (tap the bell shape above the subscription.

Then, set up your device to "allow notifications from YouTube...

i just got a notification this morning from AAP " Animal Adventure Park" has uploaded a new video"

I will get ipthe notification here in a while. HTH
